From NJ, Jim Hadley reports that fighting and boating a 600 pound mako shark for 4.5 hours provides a good workout! The DN main sheet will be child’s play compared to reeling this beast in.

The place was Hudson Canyon off NJ, the bait is rumored to have been a stool pigeon (this is Jersey folks- it’s how they roll….)
